December Special Raffle Rules

DECEMBER SPECIAL RAFFLE RULES

The highlight of the December meeting of the Arizona Rivulin Keepers is a special raffle. The club solicits donations and purchases a large quantity of aquarium products and gives away lots of prizes at this annual event. These are raffled off to attendees.

How do you qualify for the Arizona Rivulin Keeper's December raffle? Below are the rules -

The FIRST RULE is that you must attend the December meeting. No proxies!

The SECOND RULE is that you cannot buy drawing tickets. You must earn them by participating in ARK-sponsored or endorsed activities.

a. Club Attendance -

1. Members earn ONE (1) drawing ticket for each monthly ARK meeting that they attend.

2. A bonus of THREE (3) tickets is awarded to anyone attending ALL of the ARK meetings during the calendar year.

b. Paid membership -

1. All paid members for the current year as of the July meeting will receive FIVE (5) drawing tickets.

2. If you join for the current year after the July meeting and before the November meeting, you will receive TWO (2) drawing tickets.

3. If you start or renew your ARK membership for the coming year BEFORE or AT the November meeting, you will receive FIVE (5) drawing tickets.

4. If you start or renew your ARK membership for the coming year AFTER the November meeting but BEFORE the December meeting, you will receive TWO (2) drawing tickets.

5. If you start or renew your ARK membership for the coming year AT the December meeting, you will receive ONE (1) drawing ticket.

6. If you attend the December meeting as a guest, you will receive ONE (1) drawing ticket. Guests are defined as prospective new members or out-of-town visitors. Guests are not immediate family members of existing members as our membership includes the entire family as a single unit.

Club activities -

1. Members will receive THREE (3) additional tickets when they contribute to a fish shipment to a club-endorsed event at another killifish club (i.e. - SCKC Fish Fry).

2. Members will receive THREE (3) additional tickets when they contribute fish to an ARK-endorsed exchange box to another club.

3. TWO (2) additional tickets are earned by ARK members for each of the following that they attend: 1) the AKA Convention, 2) West Coast Weekend, 3) the Southern California Fish Fry, or 4) an AKA-sanctioned event or show.
